All the bolts can be stored from the older car models but the bolts in the latest models can’t be reused more than once. The new clips or nails can easily be bought from a repair shop or hardware shop. Next step is to take out all the fastened door components like window, door handles and power window panel. In case of door lock fixed to a door handle; take out both of them together by unscrewing the rod from door’s lock. Then eradicate the door panel but if it is not removed easily then it implies that some of the bolts are still present holding the panel to its place. Just be mindful not to scratch the door fastening while removing.

Now fix the fiberglass car door panels in their place one by one by mounting the bolts beginning from underneath. One may crack or damage the door panel while fixing it to the car so be cautious. Be clear in mind that the door panel installed is at the correct position prior to screwing it up. If you find that some sort of pressure is exerted to fix it up or it is hanging from any side then it means that position is incorrect.

To get a swift and convenient fix like factory for your door panel; you have to use the original door panel as a foundation. You have to take out the frame of 2 to 3 inches while trimming the inner side of the panel, leaving the underneath and side mounts at their place. Now install the customized panel to fix inside the original door panel of the car.
